Actually come to think of it we’re both wrong. It’s 2/3’s of the Senators present.

This was in the article. They are obsessed.

The agreement will not be called a “Treaty”, because the Senate, particularly after the mid-term elections, will not pass it.

But it can still be imposed upon us by the heavily Left-leaning Supreme Court, which no longer makes any pretence at judicial impartiality and may well decide, even if Congress does not, that the Cancun agreement shall stand part of US law on the ground that it is “customary international law”.

Well, it's the Senate, not the House that it needs to get through, which it still won't, but these global marxists are serious. We and our kids and grandkids will be fighting this global takeover for generations.

I hope it doesn't get much more violent than the regional strikes like in Greece and England we see now.

Don’t you understand that this is what the Progressives and senior GOP have been working for. This is their One World Government.

I am having difficulty understanding how a person of your age, I’m guessing over 30, could not know about the New World Order, Agenda 21, One World Government and the other groups who support Global Government. The only possible explanation is that you are getting all of your news from the TV and liberal newspapers.

I see that you support Sarah Palin. I do too, hoping she will run. I have gathered some quotes from President George Bush (January 1991), Henry Kissinger, World Affairs Council Press Conference, Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel , April 19th 1994, Sen. Joseph R. Biden, Jr. in the Wall Street Journal (April 1992), James Paul Warburg 1950, Robert Kennedy, former U.S. Attorney-General, 1967, Nebraska State Senator Peter Hoagland, speaking on radio in 1983, President Bill Clinton 3-22-94, and Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., in Foreign Affairs (July/August 1995).

Our current choice for legislative candidates is lawyers who cannot earn a comfortable living working in the Courts and we can see the corruption that has resulted from them. Perhaps there is something about needing more combat veterans in our government positions.

The criminals in this situation are the senior members of both parties in the Congress and Senate. They have accepted as their goal, establishing a NWO and having the United Nations as the center of authority.

I cannot comprehend how someone with free personal liberty would voluntarily become a slave. This bureaucratic collectivist one-world government has been the dream of many since the inception of the League of Nations and world peace. When the League of Nations collapsed the United Nations was proposed in 1945 as the replacement. The Charter of the United Nations in no way, shape or form grants individuals the liberty they have under the US Constitution.

“If we do not follow the dictates of our inner moral compass and stand up for human life, then his lawlessness will threaten the peace and democracy of the emerging new world order we now see, this long dreamed-of vision we’ve all worked toward for so long.” — President George Bush (January 1991)

“[The New World Order] cannot happen without U.S. participation, as we are the most significant single component. Yes, there will be a New World Order, and it will force the United States to change it’s perceptions.” — Henry Kissinger, World Affairs Council Press Conference,
Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel , April 19th 1994

“How I Learned to Love the New World Order” -article by Sen. Joseph R. Biden, Jr. in the Wall Street Journal (April 1992)

“We shall have World Government, whether or not we like it. The only question is whether World Government will be achieved by conquest or consent.” — Statement made before the United States Senate on Feb. 7, 1950 by James Paul Warburg

“All of us will ultimately be judged on the effort we have contributed to building a NEW WORLD ORDER.”—Robert Kennedy, former U.S. Attorney-General, 1967.

“Fundamental Bible-believing people do not have the right to indoctrinate their children in their religious beliefs because we, the state, are preparing them for the year 2000, when America will be part of a one-world global society and their children will not fit in.” —Nebraska State Senator Peter Hoagland, speaking on radio in 1983.

“When we got organized as a country and we wrote a fairly radical Constitution with a radical Bill of Rights, giving a radical amount of freedom to Americans...” “And so a lot of people say there’s too much personal freedom. When personal freedom’s being abused, you have to move to limit it. That’s what we did in the announcement I made last weekend on the Housing Projects, about how we’re going to have weapon sweeps and more things like that to try to make the people feel safer in their communities”—President Bill Clinton 3-22-94, MTV’s “Enough is Enough”

Does TSA come to your mind when you read this?
“We can’t be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans..”—
Bill Clinton USA Today—3-11-93, page 2a

“We are not going to achieve a new world order without paying for it in blood as well as in words and money.” — Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., in Foreign Affairs (July/August 1995)

I’m sure your first reaction will be to call me a nutcase or worse for posting this but all of it is verifiable. Select the quote and I’ll be glad to verify it for you.

Long Article, but very important.

Due to the importance of this I have reproduced Christopher Monckton’s words in full as reported at SPPI (see article).

The UN wants nothing less than 1.5% of our GDP.

That’s $212 billion from the USA every year ($2700 per family of 4).

Thanks, Ernest.

(Get the US out of the UN, and the UN out of the US. Gee, that would make a good tag line. - A couple of years ago, I read an article stating the *average* level of education of an UN member is Eighth (8th) Grade.)

You folks who don’t see a chance for this amaze me. No scare me is a better choice of words. Why are we still a member of the UN? Because there is a solid portion of our legislators who are trying to get us into global government.

Read http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2640212/posts?page=29#29 and see the proof that this is coming from both parties.

The people know best what is best for the people. The governing class no doubt knows what is best for the governing class, but does not necessarily know what is best for the people, and must always be kept in check by the ballot-box.

It's time to face it: democracy is way overrated. There is no way to keep an eye on the cheats, especially now with digital voting machines. Voters fall on a taker/giver bell curve, the left side voting to take from the right. Political fashions are too fickle, creating always shifting rules to the game which favors corrupt insiders and causes great expense to producers. Politicians continually give away the store to get temporarily elected.

A 9-king kingdom may be the way to go, where the kings are sworn to middle-class wealth and can't pass power on to relatives. This is how the Supreme Court is structured, and they have proven to be the most stable, conservative, and corruption-free branch of government.

I see danger ahead. I see some defense in the near future, but beyond 2012 I can’t see. If something bad happens and this country swings back left in 2012 we’re sunk.

So, FRiend, I’m worried too. We need to plan for the worst and hope for the best, as always.

Democracy sucks. We are a Constitutional Republic. We are not run by a polit-bureau of 9.

We have a system that is being corrupted and is worth fighting for and putting right.

Period.

If the Supreme Court has any say here, look out for Anthony Kennedy, who seems enamored of foreign law.

>>Actually come to think of it we’re both wrong. It’s 2/3’s of the Senators present.<<

So during Christmas vacation call 10 Senator back to DC. Take a vote and 7 say Yea. It passed and is noted in the Congressional Record. Done. No listings as to who the Senators were or any fine details.
