A 31-year-old man riding a bicycle on Jackson Avenue near Memphis National Cemetery early Sunday rode beside a woman and lifted her cell phone from her pocket, according to a court affidavit.==================

So you make my point.

An easy mark. Just what I described several posts back.

A parked vehicle. Objects of value probably in view. No one in sight.

Totally relevant.

You are lost in your own smoke.

Police: Men on Bicycles Assault, Rob Truck Driver

Police said four men on bicycles ordered a man out of his truck at gunpoint, beat him, and stole his wallet.

The incident happened on Niagara Street around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday. Police said that the victim was a 37-year-old man who has not been identified.

The victim was allegedly forced out of his truck at gunpoint. Police said two men hit the victim, took his wallet, and fled on bicycles.

24-year-old David Marble and 23-year-old Leonard Aguayo were found riding bicycles a short time later. They were taken into custody and charged with robbery, assault, and grand larceny.

Want to see more criminals committing robberies while using bicycles?

Lemme know.

And to document how disingenuous and misleading you are, this is what was said.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Me:

“If Smith is the shooter, then yes it’s likely this was an attempted robbery...Happens all the time. “

You:

Really? Guys on bicycles shoot motorists for money all the time?

Not what I said. My statement was clear, "Attempted robberies happen all the time."

Crimes occur in every situation, at nearly every venue imaginable, with the criminals using all types of transportation, which I clearly provided you upon your request...

Me personally? I feel Smith possibly bump her vehicular intentionally, or acted as though he did, to get the victim to speak with him.

Victim possibly starts rolling down her window to speak with Smith, sees his gun, starts rolling window back up and he opens fire, blowing the window out, striking the victim multiple times...

I support your suspicion. This guys apartment was 6 miles away from the crime scene. Late at night, so far from home, passing by lots of easy pedestrian victims stumbling out of clubs/bars drunk, just to try robbing someone in a moving vehicle?

I could buy a killer for hire scenario, with him in a vehicle, not on a bike. Interesting case to follow.
