I was scanning radio channels in the car shortly ago and the tuner stopped at NPR (Neal Conan's Talk of the Nation) just as Ken Rudin said that the Democrats are in an uproar about Obama. He said that the general consensus is that "Obama is a poor leader, a poor negotiator (he gives concedes before the negotiations even start) and a poor fighter."
It was surreal.
Rudin asked Conan if he remembered the point in The Wizard of Oz when Dorothy exposes the Wizard as a fake and says "you're a very bad man" and the Wizard responds by saying "no, I'm just a very bad Wizard." Rudin stunned me by then saying "well that will be Obama's epitaph."

What’s sick is that all this outrage on left is because someone else won’t be paying higher taxes. These people are screwed up.
Remember that a fundamental characteristic of the leftist is the ability to say one thing today and the exact opposite tomorrow depending on whatever suits their need at the time. With a few more moves to the left he will be their favorite son again.
Obama is also a poor excuse for a human being.
My dream is that Obama runs for reelection in 2012 but is defeated in the rat primary by some non-black candidate. I think this could be the event that would cause blacks to walk away from the demoncrap party. It could be the end of the unholy alliance between blacks and the anti-Christian left. The demoncrap party could be reduced to a regional party existing only in bolshevik bastions like Vermont and Hawaii.

The very fact that the Wizard of Oz image popped into Rudin's mind says (to me at least) that the Dems know unconsciously that Obama is just the man behind a curtain...a "bad wizard"...a fake.
And the fact that Rudin believes the "bad wizard" thing will be Obama epitaph...wow!

I would toast to that and take it one further. The more time spent with (most) college professors, the greater the distance between a student and reality.
