To: I still care
As Obama said during the debates, “People just shouldn’t have that much money”.

Remember also the last primary debate - zer0bama was prompted my the moderator (Stephanopolis?) that cuts in the capital gains rate increased revenues. Candidate zer0bama impatiently snapped back it's not about revenue; it's about fairness.

I think that might have been the same debate. I’d love to find the exact quote. But the one I’m thinking wasn’t Stephanolopolis; it was another reporter. (CBS?) The question was, knowing that historically capital gains taxes actually decrease revenue, would he still tax them.

His answer was yes, because it wasn’t fair people had that kind of money. It was such an eyeopener, but everyone but Rush let it go by. Obama basically said people should be taxed, even if it decreased everyone’s prosperitiy, because he thought it was wrong they had too much money.

It that wasn’t a scary window into the man, I don’t know what was.
