PEARL HARBOR (HawaiiNewsNow) - A suspicious suitcase was found in one of the interior exhibits at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center Tuesday.
There are tags on the suitcase, but the center needs to make sure it belongs to someone.
At this time, everything is shut down.
PHVC has cordoned off the area and everyone is being kept about 400-500 feet away.
We'll have more information as this story as it becomes available.

I’ll bet it was lurking, but not making eye contact. Probably wearing dark glasses and an overcoat. Maybe it was even carrying a suspicious-looking human.

the center needs to make sure it belongs to someone. Hmm...Just a hunch, but asking people might yield better results than evacuating them.

Isn't this essentially a museum? Why would someone bring a suitcase?

Isn't this essentially a museum? Why would someone bring a suitcase?Today's the 69th anniversary of Pearl Harbor, I think. All the more reason to be alert.

I got that part. I think I would notice someone with a suitcase walking into the Lincoln Memorial for example.

Was this suspicious suitcase reported thru Walmart/Homeland Security? I'd like to report 30 suspicious suitcases on aisle 10. Oh, and there are hundreds of toiletry items with over 3 oz of liquid near the pharmacy.
