lol.
Sometimes stores will have a sale that says 3 for $10 and a second notice will say but if you buy 1 its regular price.
I got that story beat.
I was in a store when the power went out.
The young female clerk was trying to figure out my bill with paper and pencil. She got stumped and called out to her female co-worker,
“How much is 3 X 5 ?
Her friend shouted back, “I don’t know, but I think it’s the same as 5 X 3.”
I just shook my head and instead of helping her out, I suggested she take off her shoes and use her toes in the calculation. True story - Sad - but true.
Having these moron's count change is always a laugh as well. I bought something once for $11.23, I gave the clerk $21.25, she then looked confused and said: "You gave me too much money". She gave me my $1.25 back, then counted out $8.77 cents, just like the cash register indicated.
I then put the two cents in my pocket and gave her back the four quarters, asking for a dollar in return. I then asked for a ten in exchange for the five and the ones.
That was when the light bulb went on and she said: "Oh, now I see what you were doing."
