BS yourself, a few hundred advisers in a country or area for many years does not constitute a war, or we would be at war in many places. Kennedy sent in 16,000 men and got us into the war, not Eisenhower.
Shows the lingering effects of the commie media and academia.
“Because he was killed.”
That is why I used to “like” him as a kid. It wasn’t until I was older when I figured out why my old man hated FDR (”but Dad - he got us out of the Depression”) and the Kennedys so much.
JFK...He’s Hot...He’s Hip....He’s Dead.
The Camelot cult is alive and well. Up here in Canada I saw a Kennedy Johnson bumper sticker not too long ago. Just wondering if anyone comes across them down there in the US these days?
Regardless, it was not Eisenhower.
Unable to resist:
A joke told to a Russian audience by American comedian (Billy Crystal?):
"Your leaders always told you WE were the enemy and our leaders always told us YOU were the enemy. Well, we were BOTH wrong!" (pause for effect)
"It's the FRENCH ! ! !"
Russians: ROF LMAO! (They agree.)
French colonial bastids...
“French colonial bastids...”
Agree. Having spent some time as an expat, I can tell you that “nobody” likes the French.
