South Florida Seniors hated my act. I bombed when I moved here 11 years ago. But I was beloved up North. (Jazz, Soul, R&B, Motown, Classic Rock) I never figured it out. All they wanted in Florida was “New York NY, Memory from Cats, The macarena, and The Electric Slide. That’s when I started teaching instead. And of course, now I will teach until I die from exhaustion. LOL. I love teaching. It is a new life for me.
