Hmmph...back home in Appalachia, I’ve actually stood on mountain tops and looked DOWN into the cockpits of military jets zooming down below me in the valleys, playing hide and seek with each other. The USAF brass has better things to do here...
My feeling is that if they weren’t breaking glass, causing pregnant women to give birth prematurely and cleaning leaves and branches off the planes after they land, it is a egregious waste of taxpayer money because THEY WEREN’T LOW ENOUGH!
But hey...that’s just me...
I keep wishing those Hog pilots would blow their horns before they blast over the ridge so I’d have some warning they were coming!

Back in the 80’s a pair of Nat.Guard F-4’s blew threw a tight mt. valley while I was standing on top a silo elevator about 200’ above the river. They were parallel to me as they screamed past about 500’ away.
A very impressive pant cleaning event.
