Every election we are bombarded with ads and endorsements touting the grand leadership qualities, wisdom, experience and overall greatness of the candidates. Every single one of them is some combination of Solomon, Washington, Lincoln and Patton. A combination of several hundred such titans should be able to move mountains. And they can’t even do the most basic and fundemental job required of them: protect and preserve the integrity of the nation’s borders.
As Arizona has shown, you don’t have to deport all 11 million to cause many to go home on their own, or refrain from coming. You just announce that you are enforcing the laws that are on the books and, as each situation arises, start really doing it.
I just think there has to be justice for the people who follow the rules and immigrate legally. They must be justifiably angry at the people who want amnesty, when, as legal immigrants, they stood in line, waited, followed the rules, and took the oath of citizenship out loud, with pride.
13 million jobs lost, deport 11 million illegals? Sounds like the numbers add up. On a smarter note, we won’t have to deport 11 million if we do it right, they’ll deport themselves.

He knows as well as anyone that legalizing 21 million or more illegal aliens will destroy America as we have known it. Illegal aliens (criminals) will vote as a bloc. They are encouraged to hold dual citizenship, which means that their allegiance is not to the USA.
Let Newt explain why he thinks that this is a desirable thing to happen. I defy him to do that. But, then too, there is no one who will ask him that.

And again we have the “we can’t deport 11 million people” lunacy. Anyone who says that should be automatically dismissed as just one more panderer. Enforce the law at the employer level, prosecute employers who violate the law, and enforce all other immigration laws and people will self-deport gradually.
They can deport themselves. Stop giving them benefits paid for the American taxpayer.
