Bradley Manning is reason to repeal DADT and return to the way things were before DADT came into being. NO Clearence & NO Service!
Back when I was in USAF Basic Training (1960s), we were given a special briefing, and we were told that any of us were "that way" and wanted to say so, we would be sent home and returned to civilian life.
The officer explained to us that the reason this path was offered was that homosexuals were a security risk. (The reason was repeated several times.) Nothing about offending anyone, only that homosexuals are a security risk.

I support DADT EXCEPT where a Clearance above Secret is required.
When TS and any/all the special categories are required, folks must be squeaky clean and above blackmail...though it currently APPEARS Manning was not being blackmailed, we have yet to know that certainly.
That may be why he's still in solitary and the investigations seems to be taking so long.
IF blackmail is an issue any repeal of DADT will go in the OPPOSITE direction of the GAY Agenda.
