I believe he and Holder decided to let the leak go through for two reasons:
1 - Their belief the leaked info would reflect badly on the Bush administration.
2 - That the leak would fill the front page news while Obama and congress do their best to sneak more Obamunism and socialism through the lame duck session.
To a degree it has backfired on the administration because the big ticket items so far are all from the last two years.
I agree with you. People keep talking about Obama as if he wants to accomplish something as president. He does - he wants to eliminate the position.

You are right. Notice BO did not protest when WikiLeaks was trashing President Bush and putting the lives of our Troops in jeopardy. Nor did BO mind having info putting our diplomats lives at risk leaked until his attempt to leak info damaging to HC backfired on him.

My liberal wife got one of those Obama Chia heads for Christmas last year. She HATED it and gave it to me. I don’t know whether to grow it, or give it to Goodwill. I don’t want his visage glowering down on me.
