North Korea attacks South Korea and then “there is an increasing fear of North Korean retaliation”?

REALLY?

What is South Korea supposed to have done to deserve ‘retaliation’?

The North ATTACKED the South.

There should be fears of ADDITIONAL UNPROVOKED ATTACKS !!!

I wanted to post specifically about that point of semantics. Clearly “retaliation” is the wrong word.

The definition of retaliate:
re·tal·i·ate (r-tl-t)

v.intr.
To return like for like, especially evil for evil.
