It was another quiet year for my duties. Very few threats to U.S. interests. 2004 and 2005 were painful storm seasons.

Texans South of Dallas got real lucky this year with tropical depressions and storms.... they’ve been mostly our only rainfall. If not for those storms, you’d be hearing stories of cattle slaughters due to no hay. Even so, our plants aren’t looking too perky because no nitrogen-bearing thunderstorms have happened in about 8 months.
