I have SO been there! Its really frightening to take on a new contract and walk into a wiring closet that looks like that. You know right then that his jobs is going to have its frustrations.

Think that white CAT5 cable may be loose... Nah - more likely one of those fibre loops has cracked the glass; if the light hits where the glass touches it gets through, otherwise it bounces back. ;^)
