"I understand the lawsuits etc and the fact she did complete 2 terms as mayor, but we really need a supreme leader with fortitude."

First, the USA doesn't have "supreme leaders", we have presidents.

Second, it took more fortitude to resign than to stay, as all of her close advisers were telling her it would be "political suicide". She resigned, and is currently proving that the resignation was nowhere near being "political suicide", but a stroke of genius. From sinking into an oblivion of debt, she is now worth millions, and is well on the way to being the first female president of the USA.

Third, she demonstrates fortitude virtually on a daily basis, carrying on despite the constant attacks from the liberal media, and the Country Club Republicans.

You want "fortitude"??? She has it, in spades.

Apparently fortitude means “play it safe” and “follow conventional wisdom”.

There was not one candidate in 2008 > That’s the problem, in 2000 everyone got behind Bush early, Bush was Palin back then, everyone was for Bush unless you were a Rino! If we all got behind Palin now, WE would not get a RINO!

If she was not a women, she would be backed like Bush was!
She will be a much better President then Bush.
