“Q: Let me clear something up: Sen. McCain has said he supports caps on carbon emissions. Sen. Obama has said he supports clean coal technology, which I dont believe youve always supported. Do you support capping carbon emissions?
PALIN: I do. I do.”

Seems like you’ve been busy with oppo research against Palin.
Hmm.
The VP candidate could NOT publicly contradict her running mate. Wrong? Yes. Necessary. Unfortunately, yes as well. She could not present a divided front in a presidential campaign. She is now free from those responsibilities.
This is Politics 101. Anyone who cannot acknowledge that and uses that as a purity test is not living in reality.
Maybe Cheney should have revealed in his debate with Edwards that he didn’t favor Bush’s decision to go to the U.N. before invading Iraq using your logic? Because we know that he didn’t.
In 2008, Palin was not the standard bearer of the party... McCain unwittingly gave conservatives a gift... one that may undo much of his own agenda. Hopefully, she can finish what Bush started with the Supreme Court. Anthony Kennedy’s replacement will be crucial and will mean the end of Roe v. Wade among many other issues.
