Would you capitalize White Anglo Saxon Protestant, or just call us crackers and leave it at that? Enlighten me as to why the descendants of the Conquistadors - the most murderous group of settlers to come to the Americas - somehow deserve some sort of special consideration and recognition, when their entire history is one of horrifying degradation, social collapse, and thuggery as government.

Fella, I don't know what your problem is, and frankly don't give a crap. But since you asked, yes, if using the term Anglo Saxon in a sentence, I would capitalize it. Why? For the same reason I capitalized Hispanic - because in both cases it is grammatically correct according to my Merriam-Webster dictionary.

I'll thank you to not assign your BS motives to my posts!!

JaguarXKE is right-those sentiments sound a bit over the top-and everyone who can read a history book knows that most Hispanics are NOT purely Spanish, but a mixture of the truly dreadful conquistadores and the native population of the Americas who were used and abused by them-we are an ethnic group, not a “race”.

I’m an American of Hispanic ancestry-my (Republican/conservative) family has lived in what is now Texas since the 1700’s, having come here to raise livestock and crops. No one in my family even tolerates mojados/illegals, nor do most of the Americans of Hispanic ancestry that I know, so please do not tar us with that illegal-loving brush.

My first husband was from New Mexico, and we went there to visit his family frequently. It always seemed to me that most of the liberals there were centered in Santa Fe and the other tourist-y areas like ski resorts, etc-and most of them seemed to be from California originally. It was sort of like the Austin area is here in Texas, only bigger. A lot of conservative territory could be reclaimed if transplanted liberals could be induced to return to California...

Thanks for the answer. Took you awhile, and the bit about being a noun being the reason is just fine.

But the reason for my post is to raise consciousness that seems to have been lost in America due to cultural Marxism (also known as "political correctness").

Popular discourse now bestows victim status on "hispanics" or "latinos". This expresses itself in the media as a continuing elevation of their cultural status by use of glorifying adjectives ("vibrant culture" for example).

For that matter, the identity group nomenclature - which doesn't exist in Spain or Latin America - is itself a successful attempt to create a victim group where one did not exist before - merely an enemy group based on the history of the Americas (Anglo-British Protestants at war with Spaniard Catholics, and later Mexican Catholics after the Mexican War of Independence between 1811-1821).

The opposite intent of the Bolshevist cultural warriors - those implementing the intent of Gramsci, Adorno and Marcuse - is to deligitimize White Anglo Saxon Protestant (i.e., American) culture and governmental norms by using diminishing adjectives, pejoratives, and bigoted slang ("cracker", "gringo", etc) which Americans are supposed to simply accept without retaliation.

This has the intended effect of cultural defeat and diminishment.

To the extent that people cooperate with their approach, they win. To the extent that we do not, and we call "BS" as you claim my motive was, we can push back, and save our nation and culture.

The word "Hispanic" is itself a made up label as explained above. Spaniards are mystified by its use as applied to them because they are white Europeans for the most part and they refer to Mexicans as "South Americans", for instance.

But it is no mystery where such words come from if you understand the cultural initiative that spawned them.

By using them, and in some cases accepting the notion that Spaniards who settled in Northern New Mexico in 1640 are some sort of "victim" class which is entitled to special consideration, people surrender to the culture war imposed on us by the Communists who seek to weaken America from within.

We should not surrender.

"Undocumented Workers" are illegal aliens. Nothing more. If "Hispanics" are Americans, then that's all they are. Nothing more.

Now you know. Whether you intend it or not, to me, you are engaging in the cultural attack on the American nation by acquiescing to the cultural rules propagated by the cultural Marxists.

And on that, I call BS.
