US warns Israel about WikiLeaks documents

American Embassy informs PMO that diplomatic cables dealing with Israel-US relations set to be released could cause embarrassment.

The US Embassy in Tel Aviv has informed the Prime Minister's Office that the website WikiLeaks was planning on releasing US diplomatic cables, of which some may deal with Israel-America relations.

The reason the US gave for informing the Israeli government is that they wanted to make sure Israel was prepared for publicity that might cause diplomatic embarrassment, and would not be surprised by the findings.

On Wednesday the Obama administration said it had alerted Congress and begun notifying foreign governments that the WikiLeaks website is preparing to release sensitive US diplomatic files that could damage US relations with friends and allies across the globe.

"These revelations are harmful to the United States and our interests," State Department spokesman PJ Crowley said. "They are going to create tension in relationships between our diplomats and our friends around the world."

Crowley said the release of confidential communications about foreign governments probably will erode trust in the United States as a diplomatic partner and could cause embarrassment if the files should include derogatory or critical comments about friendly foreign leaders.

US diplomatic outposts around the world have begun notifying other governments that WikiLeaks may release these documents in the coming days, Crowley told reporters.

A major focus of the documents is Europe, but the cables are likely to touch on relations with many important countries in Asia and elsewhere, another official said, speaking anonymously in order to discuss internal deliberations.

What? Allies will be offended if they find out what Obama and Clinton really think about them?

When men were men and the issue of national security was at risk, not only would this wikileaks idiot be done away with extreme prejudice but the leaker would be found out as well.

The leaker works to Barky’s advantage.
The jerk wants to tear down America and our relationship with our allies and the leaker is doing it for him.

Julian Assange needs to have a suite at Club Gitmo.
I see no difference between him and any other terrorist. The both get Americans killed.

Here are a few samples: Barak Obama to Hosni Mubarak: Heh. That Under the Sea spoof on LatmaTV sure had me pegged.

Mubarak: Deborah Glick must die!

A’jad: Please to explain to me how children of the Great Satan play card game Spit?

Obama: I dunno. They move too fast for me to figure it out.

I find it impossible to believe that this website cannot be shut down, either legally or militarily.
I have, therefore, conclude that this website is just an extension of The Usurper’s foreign policy operations.

I can’t imagine any Israeli could be found that still believes the Obama Lie that his administration is a friend to
Israel. These Wiki Leaks seems to have come from one doing
Obamas’ bidding anyhow in providing pressure form below to
force repeal of DADT and allow Gays in the Military. Gays working in Intelligence a security risk —YES.The Israeli ought consider the source of the documents and ignore all
caution that the disclosure might cause diplomatic embarrassment. Certainly ought not reflect poorly on the Israeli.Only on this Administration.

FYI about Mr. Crowley.

Philip J. (P.J.) Crowley previously served as a Senior Fellow and Director of Homeland Security at the Center for American Progress.

Unauthorized possession of classified documents and particularly their transfer is a crime. He should have been indicted, our allies could refuse to extradite if they so wished. Or he could move to Syria or Iran. Sitting on our hands only encourages more leaks

That is what they are hoping we will beleive. Noplace, nowhere does a PFC have that much access. This can go back to just another reason why Gays were not permitted in the military in the first place. Someone finds out and then uses that to blackmail him/her into doing things they never would have done otheraise to keep it quiet. Personal vulnerabilities are the firt thing brought up in any intelligence training.

In this case, I think this guy was given a deal of some sort of protection and later substinence to be the fall guy. No place has there been anything new reported on him since when they first arrested him. Most importantly, there is no way on this earth that he had any Need to Know access to this much information unless someone else leaked it to him and/or setup the authorized access.

I am solidly in the camp that WH people are behind it because nobody outside of it has that much far ranging access to that much information across several different agencies with their own firewalls of information security, especially a jilted PFC. The controls are just that tight to allow someone inadvertant, unfettered access and capability to plug in a thumb drive and simply walk out.

Add to it and the first country publicly notified to be the Israelis? Yea, right. This one issue ought to be Darrell Issa’s first investigation launched as he has already given public notice the indictments are coming down like water over Niagra Falls.

Hillary to Bibi: We gave you it in writing. Didn’t you receive the paper I sent you?

Bibi: It was blank, so—

Hillary: It had all the guarantees written and signed in invisible ink!

Bibi: I threw it out.

Hillary: What?! That’s how you treat our guarantees?!

Bibi: I like how you sound when you’re upset. Make that Donald Duck noise again.

Hillary: Th-th-th-that’s all, f-f-folks.

Frankly, I don’t believe this guy is releasing all this info without Obama’s approval. He could certainly be stopped if there was the will to do so.
