We are on the road. But a full fledge tyranny has not happened; it restricts movement, & brutalizes/kills dissenters.
We still have access to information, we are still able to protest, speak ‘relatively’ freely and still have freedom of movement.
Mark Levin calls this a ‘soft’ tyranny.

At the risk of being called senile, I'll repeat what I have been saying for a long time.
We The people should watch what happens to our means of communication. In absence of a true free press, it's the Internet and talk radio in this huge country of ours.
0b0z0 and his Communist regime are turning the screws on certain sites and will try to "legalize controlling" the Internet by claiming to control "infringement on intellectual property." They want to pass a law in the Lame Duck session because come January, they'll never be able to do so.
To take over and "fundamentally transform" the US to a Communist State, the Communists HAVE to at least THROTTLE the Internet and possibly talk radio.
If the citizen resist demonstrate in parts of the country and union violence breaks out, the citizens won't take it and will defend themselves, their families and property.
With our Communist media usual silence and/or lying, the Internet and talk radio will be crucial to alert the rest of the country to what goes on. THAT can never be allowed by the Brown shirts and their Communist masters. Resistance by the armed citizenry couldn't possibly be allowed to spread because it'll be the end of the Communist dreams of a police state under their total control.
The Communists lost the last election and will lose the next. They'll be peacefully out of power if they let things be, but would they?
I doubt it. For a moment, put yourself in their stinking shoes; being so close to Utopia, would you let it slip through your fingers, knowing that you'll never be so close again?
