WASHINGTON—The Obama administration said Wednesday it has alerted Congress and begun notifying foreign governments that the WikiLeaks website is preparing to release sensitive U.S. diplomatic files that could damage U.S. relations with friends and allies.

Officials said the documents may contain everything from accounts of compromising conversations with political dissidents and friendly politicians to disclosures of activities that could result in the expulsion of U.S. diplomats from foreign postings.

U.S. diplomatic outposts around the world have begun notifying other governments that WikiLeaks may release these documents in the next few days.

"These revelations are harmful to the United States and our interests," State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley said. "They are going to create tension in relationships between our diplomats and our friends around the world."

...why should the US have to "brace" itself over Wickileaks espionage?....shouldn't Wickileaks be "bracing" itself for retaliation from us?...I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep if the CIA were to 'terminate with extreame prejudice' all Wickileak activities...and the sooner, the better.

meh...

I wouldn’t be surprised if the marxists in DC were feeding his info to wikileaks. There will be no “termination” or any other CIA, etc mission against wikileaks.

“that could damage U.S. relations with friends and allies. “

Isn’t that precious! Send that message in a Holiday Hallmark card!

How about enabling our enemies and endangering the American people, and our allies (if we have any we haven’t betrayed already.)

My sentiments ever since I heard of them. But if they are not to made a very public example of, why not just croak them with a computer worm and be done with it - no bloodshed, no fingerprints, nothing. But to endure this indignity over and over again - waddup wid dat?

The only way the White House could "prepare" for more wikileaks is if they are, in fact, the source of the leaks.

This is more Obama treason.

For all you and I know, the new info could incriminate all those crooks in the UN, and in our current WH administration.

Ya just never know!

If you think there is ONE THING in the Wikileaks docs that Foreign Intelligence Agencies don’t already know, you are wrong.

The big deal is that the info is being revealed to the public, and it could incriminate some of those in power. Just who, is all we are really going to find out.

Since the previous ‘release’ didn’t cause the US to instantly vaporize, I doubt this one will either. I am sure that certain info will be withheld by Mr. Assuage (sp?), so that certain people are protected. Whether that will be on a basis of concern for the US, or bribery to protect some politician, I cannot say.

This is more Obama treason.

At least he's good at something. I was starting to believe he had no skills at all.

Haven't you heard?

A roomful of naked Swedish Girls go over every bit of incoming data by hand, ensuring that no viruses or worms enter their website.

If America was still America, it would be the maggots at this commie website, “Wikileaks”, that would be “bracing” themselves. Unfortunately, our government now consists of nothing but a bunch of commie girlymen.

We're being swamped in a sea of corruption, deliberately.
We have lost the ability to get righteously, justifiably, purposefully angry. It's meant to numb our brains, make us feel helpless, and give up fighting.

I had a friend in Belarus. In answer to my many questions, he said, “You are asking me questions about things I do not want to think about!” We are quickly getting to that point.

Start with the person who STOLE the documents and gave them to Wikileaks.

Allow me to clarify.

Who illegally downloaded the files to a thumb drive, stuck them up his posterior and illegally transported it to Wikileaks. (hope they wiped it off before they inserted it in their computer)

Where are the investigations looking into why hundreds of thousands of classified documents are all of a sudden being leaked?

To all

The gay US Army enlisted guy, who I guess is still in the brig awaiting trial gave Wikileaks gigabytes of documents. These documents included seemed to have included everything TS codeword he had access to. That seems to everything from intel ops to state department diplomatic traffic. Of course there way have been more then one leaker but I do know that the gay army guy had extensive access.

I don’t think they can do that without being branded as bigots. The little, light in the loafers, fairy boy is a protected species. He’s protected by the U.S. Government.
