Misspeaks happen. Typos happen. Good grief, I know I have made thousands here, alone. It’s not like we all have someone to proof read our comments. To make suggestions how this or that would sound better, or be more clear.

There is no doubt in my mind Sarah was focused on Bristol’s performance. Then she has all the interviews to do. People to see, places to go. All the while, take care of the kids, and then, somehow find time for herself and Todd. She has a right to be exhausted. But she keeps on moving as if she is as fresh as the new dawn. I find her “git her done” attitude, incredible.

But sometimes, exhaustion creeps up on you, regardless. Mix in sleep deprivation, and you have a recipe for disaster. Like the one she gave her critics in this interview.

Take a break Sarah Palin. You have earned it. You need to rest, then re-load, again.

I fail to see the disaster.

Was it a disaster when Obama claimed there were 57 states? Not according to the media. Did he really think there were 57 states or did he mean to say 50? The former conclusion would be a scary statement of how little Obama knows of his own native country. The latter would be no more significant than Palin's mis-statement.

There is no logical way to interpret Palin's statement as ignorance. It is obvious that she meant to say "South".

One might wish it were so obvious that Obama meant to say "50".

The only "disaster" is that Americans are today so divided regarding how this nation should be governed. That divide has created a media bias that influences a significant number of Americans. This is reflected very clearly in how "progressivism" is not identified as the cause of our current recession and the future cause of so much suffering yet to come.
