I am in the military and agree with you completely. However, I think it is a done deal and this will be one of the last acts of the lame duck congress. Then what will happen is that any problems will be quietly swept under the rug, just like with woman in the military. I have been in both combat and non-combat units and have seen first hand how woman add unnecessary problems into a unit.

You are probably right my friend. This will certainly hurt recruiting. Damn these liberals to hell. My only hope is that one day they are made to pay a steep price for this stab in the back to the world’s greatest military.

DADT is the concession that was made when Klintoon wanted to force the military to accept "open" homosexuals in the military. The truth is that homosexuals - "open" or not - harm overall military readiness and morale, and ruin lives or harm many lives individually; as homosexuals are notorious for high rates of AIDS, promiscuity, rape, and sexual violence. They do NOT belong in the military, "open" or not. Even if the repeal of DADT is somehow forced through before January, the incoming R majority need to do everything they can to stop it, and then completely overturn it as soon as 0bastard is out of office and both houses are R majority in 2012.
