Fred Thompson despises Huckabee.

Huckabee was the prime beneficiary of the James Dobson authored "Fred's not a real Christian" misinformation that torpedoed Thompson's candidacy among many evangelicals.

Fred brought that on himself. He should have quickly answered Dr. Dobson. The base is the evangelicals, he alienated them. He alienated me when he picked an open homosexual to manage his campaign.

See post 179, I was a Thompson supporter, and I never saw Huckabee create a situation of failure for Fred.

Usually when people attack the long term Governor’s participation in the 2008 primary, they are really defending Mitt Romney, not Fred.
