Tonight is the final chance for the three remaining contestants on "Dancing With the Stars" to impress the viewers at home.
As we've seen this season in particular, high scores from the judges may be nice. But, it's the viewers who matter because their votes can make an impact.
Going into tonight's season finale are Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey & Bristol Palin.
Getting to this point wasn't always a smooth trip. There were some tense moments at the production office for "Dancing With the Stars."
ABC says a white powder in an envelope was delivered to the office this past Friday. It turned out to be talcum powder.
But, before they knew that, hazardous materials officials with the city of Los Angeles, fire department, police and FBI arrived at the studio lot where the ABC show airs.
This comes just days after the shock that viewers have put low-scorer Bristol Palin in the finals of "Dancing With the Stars," while voting off Brandy, who's had some of the highest scores from the judges.
Watch tonight's show at 8 p.m. and the results show Tuesday at 9 p.m. on ABC.

I haven't bashed any Palin, and am not likely to. I merely pointed out the truth. Let me repeat it. Bristol Palin is a real trouper and brave for taking on this challenge. (Note to ultra-sensitive Palin groupies, that's a compliment, sincerely meant.) However, it is also true that her performances (operative word being performance) have been wooden and largely devoid of any emotional connection to the music or character of the dance. Yes, she has improved a lot over the season, but she is far from the best dancer.
From this simple comment flowed all the other nonsense.
As for what I'm doing at 9, in what time zone? I live in the Pacific tz. Depending on where you live, I could be several hours behind or ahead of you. If you live on the east coast, for example, it will only be 6:00pm here and I'll be having dinner. :)
Yes, yes, yes, I get your point. Persona non grata unless I toe the prevailing line and gush all over everything Palin. Or knash my teeth and rail against liberal conspiracy if Bristol doesn't win.

Just saw Mark and Bristol on HLN! Making fun of people who say she shouldn’t even be there and can’t win! “People complain and want someone with NO experience....so, they get Bristol and they still complain!”.....lol
I noticed that too. It was as if he was afraid she might say something to cause some kind of “blowback”. OTOH it could have been him just being interested in what she had to say. But one time when Greta asked her a question, he answered it.

Bristol and Mark are having great fun despite the death threats and Kyle is having fun too. He seems like a sweet kid and poor Jennifer seems uptight and stressed, so maybe if she wins all will be okay in her life.
I’m trying to decide what I want to eat. I have forgotten to eat all day (again).

I seem to remember encountering her in the past when she was okay, so I don’t know what’s up with her now, but responding to her just seems to feed her frenzy and, frankly, I’m bored with her.
