Anyone who has visited a fast food joint, a doctors office or a hospital has watched as workers change gloves between servings or exams. And if they dont, the customer/patient would surely say something.
How often do the TSA agents doing the enhanced pat-downs change gloves? And would most cowed flyers who just want to make it through security and advance to their gate ask them to do so? Or would passengers fear that such a request would invite more enhanced scrutiny?

I also mentioned potential risks to those groped from latex glove exposure. However I should note that all the pictures I've seen of pat downs had the TSA gropers wearing BLUE gloves, which almost certainly are nitrile gloves, which don't cross react with natural rubber latex allergies. If the TSA has gone all nitrile gloves the passengers, at least, won't have to worry about allergic reactions from them.
If they changed them between each passenger, that would quickly become an environmental disaster. And if the didn’t change them between each passenger, they would be accused of spreading disease.
They absolutely have to change their gloves before handling each person.
So, what do the environmentalist wackos think of that? That’s a lot of latex going into the landfills every day.
What does this have to do with handgun safety?
...each little chip knocked out of the foundation only makes it weaker. Pretty soon the house falls down...
...death by a million cuts!
They should be kept away from the penis, mouth & anus?
From passenger to glove to next passenger? Too bad that is the price you pay when you first allow government to trading your civil liberty for the illusion of increased safety.
Good point.
...then ask if it is o.k. to get on the plane now....
And we BETTER get the answer to this question sooner than later.
For as EVERYONE with a brain knows, at this current rate and Government being what it is, it wont be long, maybe sometime in 2012, that the flying public will be forced with the prospect of full anal and vaginal cavity searching at random, or a $10,000 fine. This is the extent we have lost our basic freedoms, overreacted, and enslaved ourselves at our own hands, something which was part of Al-Qaeda tactics from day one.
I’m just sayin’...
I’ll pass, I will never fly again. I won’t be subjected to this BS.
F... the government and the Marxists who are ruling us with an iron fist!
Have any of these liberal skanks stateside who appear on "The View" come out publicly IN SUPPORT of these intrusions, only because it all emanates as an order from on high from "Holy O", the Messiah, Barack Obama?? Just curious.
As a stopgap, tactical, short term strategy (Saul Alinsky wise), this might be in fact a good, non violent way to slow the system down or otherwise throw a socket wrench into it, give us time to ready an excellent case for a federal judge to throw out the TSA procedures. Tactically speaking, it could and would wear them down. I dont look at it as a cure all. Nobody wants these kinds of searches at all (except upon young, male Muslims), so lets take it a step at a time.
Just watch.
The beast can and will expand...this is something many of the "Oh well, I just won't fly" types do not realize.
Nope. The Line has to be drawn at the Airports, and it has to be drawn during this holiday season on a mass-scale. Believe me, there are so many more of US then THEM, yet they creat the impression through intimidation of the opposite. If we are united, massive and rise up, believe me, I know their type.
They will fold.
And, by the way, I have a very infectious fungus on my feet. Causes my skin to crack and bleed. Sorry everyone, I have to take off my shoes and walk through the x-ray portal and track those little buggers right in your way. Heck, if I was a terrorist, I'd put anthrax spores in my shoes and, at the airport take off the shoes and track those spores through the x-ray portal, leaving all those barefoot travelers behind me to pick it up.
