Without political correctness, we would have a properly functioning immune system. One that exercises profiling. And if we were attacked again, instead of absorbing another attack, hunt down and kill anyone associated with the attack, including aiding and abetting (hear that, Code Pink?). And if the attack was severe enough, maybe a glass parking lot in return.
If they think that taking a airliner down is worth it, they will do it. No one is screening for liquid explosives buried in the abdominal cavity through an operative procedure that hides the detonation circuits in bone tissue.
