Oliver Stone’s movie was pretty convincing to anyone who had never been to Daley Plaza. Once you go there and you see how close quarters it really is, you realize that Oswald was shooting fish in a barrel. Didn’t require a sharp shooter. Just someone remotely competent with a rifle.

Exactly. I've been there. The very first thought that crossed my mind when I stood on the street in front of the Depository and looked at the window and the location of the car was that if I were to attempt to the shot, that's exactly where I would have positioned myself.

The Left in general and Oliver Stone in particular need to create the idea of a conspiracy to take attention away from Oswald’s obvious lefist background.

This is a man who defected to the Soviet Union, then came back to the United States and handed out pro-Castro fliers on the street.

He was a wacko who was seeking contact with the Cuban Embassy in Mexico around the time of the assassination.
