I don’t disagree with you. Bush put the system in place, and I opposed it because I knew this kind of crap would happen with the wrong kind of president in charge. The power to do things is also the power to abuse things. Its time to eliminate 85 to 90 percent of what government does. However, I don’t think Americans can summon up the type of courage and committment that that will take. The tyrants will not go away peacefully, and what the TSA is now doing is evidence of that. Obama is trying to show the people who the boss really is.

Yes Bush started it, but I remember him fighting for TSA to be privatized. He did not want another federal union bureaucracy.

The dam dems forced him to make it another union governmentopolis.

Bush could have held his ground, but felt he had to get some airport screening set up quickly considering the times we were in.
