This is great news, but Ellmers needs to make herself VERY visible to her constituents for the next two years.
Remember, Etheridge lost in 94 only to get elected again in 96.
She needs to do something to court those voters who went with Etheridge.
Helping to co-sponsor the repeals and enactments the Dems cannot allow to pass would be a good start. It will be tough to actually deliver much in the way of particular benefits, however.
What she really needs is for the state reps and sens to sensibly redraw the district lines so they don’t include parts of 10 counties from Vance to Cumberland and Wilson to Chatham.
She’s a RN. obamacare, front and center, repealed. Lower taxes, jobs.
You’re referring to David Price. Etheridge first won his seat in 1996 and just lost it, good riddance.
