Your post just shows how far we have sunk as a nation.
An American mother has to resort to extreme measures to protect her daughters’ virtue from United States government agents.
We have failed you. And for that, I am sorry. If we don’t move to correct this now, your grandchildren and mine will grow up in an Orwellian nightmare.
“Getting back to the point of my post — yes, lines move slow now. Just think how much slower they will move if you tried to run an airport the way the Israelis run Ben Gurion. You would have to be at the airport 6 to 8 hours (again my opinion) just to make your flight.”
Not necessarily. My husband is a commercial pilot. He said he was laying in bed thinking about this- with all the registered frequent fliers and the accumulation of all their data, airlines know if someone is flagged as a risk by their travel habits. Using that and active profiling would work. That leaves the last minute travelers, one ways, etc. that get closer screening. The security should be turned over to the airlines since they’re the ones with the databases.
Let’s guess: you’re a TSA goon? Just standing up for your peeps?
I am speaking about Israeli security methods.
What's the difference between this government and terrorists? I see none. One does bodily harm, the other psychological.
At least the muslim are honest about what they want to do to us. Our government lies to us and they're only interested in making $$$. Seriously, what's the point of living and struggling to fight this government.
This is an online discussion board, not a war zone. Back away from the keyboard and take a deep breath.
I admire your enthusiasm but save it for the “manchurian candidate . . .”. You win the war of ideas by putting forth a convincing argument, not by dragging someone’s kids into it. That’s pretty low if you ask me.
I think yesterdays thread said she had a skirt on. The TSA agent felt under her skirt....FWIW...
oh please...
They are now placing these machines and strip searches at court houses.
You are so wrong.
Thank you.
My former Marine husband will be watching closely.
“I am speaking about Israeli security methods.”
I understand that. I understand it means security talking to the passengers. When going through security, the frequent fliers who have been profiled could move through more quickly and people wouldn’t just be singled out randomly. I don’t think it would slow things down significantly.
She must not have had undies on either.
Which is why my girls and I are wearing Kotex on the next plane ride.
I suspect from your comment it's been a while since you've been in an airport.
I fly a lot and have seen a lot in these checkpoints. They *do* touch skin.
Just yesterday I heard a young TSA agent complaining loudly about anybody opting out of the scan. She made it clear that anybody who opts out wouldn't get through the pat-down in time to board their plane. She said, loudly, since she couldn't travel for Thanksgiving anybody opting out won't get to travel. Nice, huh. Terminal B, Logan Airport.
I have a feeling you’ll be reconsidering that trip between now and then — at least by air — but, if not, have a good trip! We are on permanent self-imposed no-fly status (commercial).
“...TSA head dude said we’ll refrain from doing this to 12 years and under children...”
They don’t develop much to fondle until they’re 13 or older anyway...
It is illogical as well. The scanners don’t detect explosive powder. So if the passenger rejects the scanner, he THEN moves to the pat-down, which doesn’t detect the powder if it is sufficiently secreted—although it is supposed to.
The underwear bomber has apparently destroyed our powers of thought. Or it is all a facade. Theater. Or it has the more nefarious purpose of breaking down our spirit, as when an evil interrogator makes the person remove his clothes.
This mother was alone and ambushed by new rulings she couldn't prepare for - mentally or physically.
Be an insensitive lout - but keep it to yourself.

Did you register a complaint with her supervisor?
you have described me to a T. an insensitive lout.
