I’ve been waiting for Greyhound and charter bus companies to start running ads about how easy it is to ride the bus. Same with rental cars and “business travel” specials.

Not to mention an amtrak revival in passenger trains. But in all seriousness, once Big Brother has run amok and gets away with our degradation in airports who or what is to prevent them from installing these scanners and grope fest at bus stations? Train Stations? Schools? Stadiums? Anyplace and anywhere large groups of people will be meeting at???? Is this how we want to live our lives? Really?

They’re already practicing by doing the strip searches/pat-downs and X-Ray machines at random bus stations. Some news show featured one in Tampa the other day. I can’t remember which channel, but of course the spin was how wonderful it is that we’ll now be harassed at the bus stations.

And those of us who live and travel within 100 miles of the border are no longer free to drive our cars, without interrogation and obtrusive questions from the BP, dogs sniffing cars like we’re criminals, etc. All in the primary lines, mind you.
