What I expect to be “typical FreeRepublic” is to be more patient with new posters, and for those who are almost as new to be more lenient, lest they be thought to be thread nannies. I would expect someone who has been here for as short a time as you have to be more understanding of new posters, but I guess my expectations are for naught.
Frankly, your demands of this new poster, and your haughtiness, irritated me a great deal.
I think you owe him an apology, and a hearty “welcome to FR”.
Not everyone who is new to FR is a troll, and I think you should give them the benefit of the doubt until you can prove otherwise.
