How many past Presidents do you suppose have had FEDERAL executive experience?
GWB? Nope.
Clinton? Nope.
GHWB? Yep. He was VP. And he ran the CIA, if you want to count that.
Reagan? Nope.
Carter? Nope. Unless you want to count Naval officer as a FEDERAL executive position.
Ford? Well, he spent ten months as the VP...
Nixon? Yep. Eight years as VP.
Johnson? Yep. Three years as VP.
Kennedy? Nope. Eisenhower? Commanding general of SHAEF qualifies.
Truman? Almost four months as the VP.
So, in your mind, I guess serving as the Vice-President is a vital qualification for the post of President? Well, she was nominated for VP. Isn't that worth something...???
she should have never quit her elected postion. it makes her appear flighty and not serious.
To you, perhaps. But you might try understanding her reasons. Under the circumstances, it was best for Alaska...and for her.

I wish she was VP right now. Then she’d have quite a bit of experience to run on in 2012. That was the idea: elect mcCain to serve for 4 years and she’d be ready.
listen, what my point is we are being run into the ground by bammy because he didn’t and still doesn’t have a clue to run his office. i simply don’t want to take that chance again. we need someone who can be elected. as for what you say about her resigning her elected postion, i like her and support her postions on most topics. if i feel that way, what do you think other are going to believe about that?? i simply don’t believe she can beat bammy.
