We had plenty of "christian" "evangelical" bigots right here on FR who trashed Romney's Mormon religion and him as a member of the faith. Don't know whether they convinced anyone, since they are not very literate or articulate, but rather just spewers of hate. Nevertheless they were and are out there. There are Mittbots left. Interesting.
No. Mormons like to present as the poor, misunderstood, persecuted minority. They make such martyrs of themselves but have not yet convinced anyone of that.
People's problems with Mitt are his politics. He's a liberal RINO, plain and simple, just like McCain, who people objected to and who was NOT a Mormon.
His religion has nothing to do with people's objections to him. Getting off the martyr wagon will give Mormons a lot more credibility.

Getting off the martyr wagon will give Mormons a lot more credibility. I'm astounded that there are still MittBotts trying the same old, same old on FR. I believe Jim made it very clear quite some time ago where he stood with this.
Also, I resent the statement that the conservative Christian patriots are somehow not articulate or literate. What an illiterate and inarticulate thing to say!

Or there aren’t enough young men who want to form an all-men’s team so he has to resort to playing with the girls.

Romney lost because he is a flipping liberal.
