Mass migrations started in the 80s when California started basically inviting in the Illegals and did absolutely nothing to stem the tide.

After prop 287 got overturned by the courts, more people left, it's been a steady stream since then, mostly conservative middle class.

What's left are the Illegals who leached an unbelievable amount of money from the tax-payers on a per-person basis, and a barely making it middle class, and the rich.

It won't take too much more bad financial news to up-end this state.
