I agree.
I’m a little bit suspicious as to the origins of said “letter to the GOP” considering there is no actual leadership structure of the Tea Party. Haven’t the liberal media and GOP elites gone after the Tea Party because of a lack of structured organization? If it has no structured organization, then how can it send a party-wide letter to the GOP with demands???
There is a growing structure. The TEA Party Patriots, an organization founded by Jenny Beth, is organized by state chapters, and each state having a state coordinator. What occurred with this damnable letter was several of these coordinators decided to commit their state to this doctrine. I have no idea whether the other groups in various states had any input into this letter, but I know for fact that our group did not, and having over 170 members, we are not inconsequential. We knew something was cooking along this line, but we were not given a chance for expressing our views.
I view this action as a power play, made by individuals who likely have designs on political office... Brown nosing at its worst in my opinion.
The letter was from a bunch of homosexuals.
