The Tea party folks are pro life. I dont understand those single issue folks. Its like they ask “are you pro life?”...YES...”..”No, I mean are you really pro life?”... YES...”No, I mean are you really really pro life?”...........

These are the same types that follow the huckster and ask if you are a Christian if you dont fall in line behind the con artist.

Where the heck is this coming from? I consider myself a Tea Partier; and getting the government out of abortion is very high on my list of “must do right now” things. Last I heard Tea Parties are Constitutionalists and believe in the sanctity of life.

True Tea Partiers believe abortion is evil. Only lurkers and RINOs would argue otherwise.

The Tea Party needs expelled those that signed the letter if it wants to maintain any influence going forward.

I gotta say, this whole “it’s gonna happen so why try to stop it?” reaction to abortion is...stunning to me.

I’m an atheist, so I don’t come from this from a religious point of view, so that’s not it. It’s all about the right to LIFE.

If we can’t say it’s wrong to kill UNBORN BABIES, then we might as well just forget any concept of “conservative” thought.

I don’t know, I am sorry to be ranting, but...I just don’t get it. This attitude is truly bizarre to me—the thinking seems to be, “Wellll, we couldn’t stop booze, so we can’t stop drugs, and should make those legal, and we can’t stop abortions so we should make THOSE legal...”

While we’re at it, by the same “logic” posted elsewhere on this, look at all the murders that take place by people who KNOW there are penalties for it.

Why make laws? SOMEONE is going to break ALL of them.

Ranting, ranting, sorry...but I just think if we can’t argue against killing babies, we might as well just forget the whole deal, because we won’t have a society that deserves preservation.

The Republican Party wins based on a three legged stool. Strong national defense, fiscal integrity and conservative social values. One or more might predominate in a given cycle, and it is not a perfect fit for all. But, this combination is basically sound and gives us a workking majority.

Interestingly, you seldom see social conservatives say we should ignore economic conservatives and they often hold their noses and vote for some of the more liberal Republicans on social matters. Yet, the economic conservatives are very ready to abandon social conservatives. Get a grip, we are all in this together.

Ignore the abortuaries, be deaf to the silent screams of thousands of murdered babies a day, pretend that killing babies is not being funded with your tax dollars. But remember, God’s Justice is not ignored. He will prevail.

It is obvious to myself what is going on here with these 'messages' from the establishment powers that be that the Tea Party should avoid "moral issues"...

It is no coincidence the the pro homosexual agenda and pro abortion activists are afraid -VERY AFRAID!

In this theater as I look upon the stage I do not see conservatives attempting to co-opt conservatives NO -maybe we see RINOs attempting to centrally control the message; however, primarily it is leftists -leftists that are very afraid...

Tea Party candidates will represent their districts and their states -the only theme is ENOUGH BIG GOVERNMENT mandates, central, planning, central control etcetera. NOTHING is off the table including the "moral" issues.

The Tea Party does not come to Washington with hat in hand kneeling before the establishment powers that be -THEY represent the true powers that be coming to reclaim government by and for the people...

To those suggesting moral issues are off limits -what are you afraid of? Quit your whining...

Lead, Follow, or GET OUT OF THE WAY!

This is tripe. True Tea Parties are individual groups where some may have stronger feeling on specific subjects, but I know for SURE our group has this as a top rank issue, which needs to be addressed.
