Stop deflecting. This is about whether or not Palin wants to carry the weight of getting 0bama reelected.
Why single out Palin? EVERY GOP candidate potential has to ask themselves that question. Why single out Palin unless she is the obvious front runner? She hasn’t stated her intent, shoot she hasnt even left the launchpad, but you’ve shot your wad of ammo at her already?
Is it premature Palination? Or just an itchy trigger finger?
And you just "know" that if she runs, he will just automatically win?? And what, precisely, gives you this level of clairvoyance two years out from the election?? You "do" recall, that at a similar time point out from election, that Reagan had similar negatives, and the news media was painting him with precisely the same "brush" that they are trying to use on Palin?
I believe they call that begging the question, i.e., treating an unproven premise as if it were true and moving to the next stage of analysis prematurely. The only reason Palin is even being challenged on this “electability” canard is because she is so flippin popular she poses a serious risk of defeating all her GOP competitors. Why is that? If there’s someone who could connect with and energize the GOP base better than her, where are they? You’ve really got to be able to win in your own party before you can hope to win the presidency. Competition is the raw material of American exceptionalism, and if Palin keeps winning in the speed trials I don’t know how you can keep her out of the actual race.
