Really? After Rush et al destroyed Huckabee’s conservative creds, there was a mass migration away from Huckabee. That defection is still in place, and for many on the right Palin is the last man standing, the only obviously committed conservative who is also sufficiently politically energizing to give threat of winning. Everyone else is as exciting as a doorknob. So honestly, I don’t get polls that favor Huckabeee, except perhaps that there are more social conservatives who are fiscal liberals than I realized. The Catholic left perhaps? Something is not adding up in this analysis.
