As a private pilot, one would have to fly at the right place at the right time during the right weather conditions to capture it on vid. So yes you could do it if that were your sole mission in life I suppose. I’ve seen this kind of thing before, but it’s nothing you plan to go out and see.

I would fully expect people on the ground though to attempt to replicate that days vid.

Think of the “green flash” phenomenom at sunset. You watch enough, you see it eventually.

Actually there are as many 'flash'-types shortly after or before twighlight as there are colors in the specturm. Its just that the Green Flash is the most common of the uncommon flash-types. Zodiacal Light is much more common than the Green Flash - about as rare as that of nacreous clouds - but the Flash is significantly more common than noctiluscent clouds.
