“... hearsay from some obscure military folk who werent there, are not experts on the subject and dont address any of the data or science.”
Hmmmmmmm
Lieutenant General with 40 years experience,
Under Secretary of Defense,
Jane’s Missile and Rockets Editor;
Hmm ...
all these plus many many witnesses and military and pilots posting here and elsewhere vs. a few animated gifs by bloggers
Hmmmmm
If you lived in LA under these missile launches as I do, you’d recognize it in a heart beat for what it is:
The thick heavy roiling boiling opaque smoke exhaust of a large amount of propellant from a missile launch, rising up into the sky,
position of origin undetermined and undeterminable, and heading higher and higher above the sea and getting smaller and smaller ‘til it disappears, heading to somewhere in the vast empty North Pacific or points beyond.
No navigation lights, no wings seen, “the object was spinning”, spiraling, extremely bright light seen below, flickering in intensity but intense, no con gap between the object and the smoke plume, course correction, booster falls to the sides, “lights up the sky”, “spectacular”, “THAT is a submarine SLBM missile”.
Or
you could go with some midwest bloggers and a guy who loves con trails.
Hey,
take your choice.
But your government is deceiving you.

You can cross Doug Richardson of Jane’s off your list. Hmmm, why is that?
Blah blah blah, still, no proof to back your claim.
When was the last time you were able to see navigation lights on a plane that was flying above you at over 30K feet, during the day time? People need to believe it was a missile, they need the conspiracy.
Add in the ominous “the government is deceiving you line” for extra paranoia!
