If your judgement is true this can be replicated every day about the same time. But it has not. Scheduled flights have this uncanny thing called a time schedule.

Dude, there's a photo at the page he linked of a similar contrail appearing in the sky the next day at the same time because the same flight was passing overhead! It's right there!

Ok junior high dude. Given an altitude of 35k and a view starting at 3k tell me just how many miles long that perfect contrail is. These numbers should be close enough for a ball park answer.

There are just too many other pictures of from other days and other years of the same exact scheduled flight.

Why do you dismiss those identical pictures? Are they all fakes?

They had a caller who stated he flew F-18s and the "missile" wasn't....a missile.

I think it more likely a contrail than a missile - but citing a random caller who 'claims he flew F-18s' as evidence holds no more water than if I say "I was that caller, and I recant".

As for calls to ATCs - perhaps you are right, but it wouldn't surprise me if most of them would be looking in a different direction, anyway. If any DID see the contrail and thought nothing of it then, it would sure be helpful for them to come out NOW with a press release or two to help offset THESE sorts of interviews.

There’s just too many other pictures of contrails that extend to the ground though. It wasn’t at the ground, it was 35000 feet where we see the ‘horizon’ and the contrail intersect.

Good question. Here’s another: Why, in a sky full of aircraft, weren’t there scores of pilots reporting a missile launch or other strange phenomenon to ATC?

Why did that "white ball of light" only turn on at the very end of the video -- precisely at the alt-azimuth where sunlight was at the incidence angle to direct reflected light toward the camera position? Where was all that bright "exhaust" light during the vast majority of your "rocket's" flight? Was it "coasting"? If so, what caused the "plume"?

If you look toward the “start” of the plume you will see the wind has spread it out.

Sorry but the “start” of the plume is down at the surface of the ocean and is unseen, lost in haze (as you can see) or over the horizon. The video shows the middle to the end of the missile launch.

“I watched that video more than 10 times: it is an SLBM missile launch. Any Air Force or Navy squadron in the world will tell you the same thing as I am telling you”.

If it was a plane, how come this thread doesn’t appear repeatedly, every single week of every year?

Why have Californians only found this one, “spectacular” launch/contrail, when they’ve witnessed thousands?

Why did this one light up the entire sky?

Why are rocket engineer friends working out west who send up things from Vandenberg, now completely shocked by the footage?

Why are they now silent — unlike how how openly they spoke during the first 36 hours?

Well, it was one heck of an illusion if that is the case. I have been near this military wise and it is very similar. I’ll dismiss it as nobody is saying anything but the Ruskies so that alone may be enough for me. It’s been fun playing though. :^) Dr. Falcon

No offense, but I’ve found that anytime someone thinks there’s a coverup, even saying “I’m not so sure...what about this aspect” is taken as “screaming” and part of the coverup or unknowing complicity with it. Consider that if you ask any Truther why there aren’t legions of FDNY firefighters supporting trutherism, he’ll respond by asking you why you trust the government so much.

Trust me on this. I’ve had Flight 800 conspiracy theorists tell me I know nothing about aircraft even after I told them I was a crew chief in Strategic Air Command. Why do I know nothing? Because I disagree with them, that’s why.
