[Protect the Bill of Rights]

I think it was an airliner, BUT I have been around the block enough times to know that the government is not always forthcoming with facts.

I may have missed it, but have yet to see anyone address what seems to be a helicopter in the vicinity. The video seems to show it moving towards the plume, but my untrained eye sees the helicopter facing the opposite direction. Has this helicopter been identified and did the pilot report seeing anything other than normal air traffic?

That’s a high wing aircraft, not a helicopter. Probably a Cessna with retractable gear like a 210.
