Yes, all but one charge (which was basically the same as pleading no contest) were dismissed, but you miss the point. The charges consumed Sarah's time and money to the point where some on her staff resigned voluntary. She could not finish her term because of these junk charges.
Did quitting really help?
There you go again, being obtuse. You can call it what you want but it has put Sarah in a much better position than had she stayed on and been bankrupt & politically radioactive.
You also ignore my question I ask you whether or not you would have supported her had she remained in office.
I dont think it did. If she was in that bad of shape, Bush shouldve quit in 2005 or so.
Bush was President. You can't sue the President.
I refuse to believe that she had to quit or else. At the time that may have been her best option, but for me that wrecked her as well. We all make choices, and that one was costly.
Well, I can't change your mind. But your belief that she's a quitter is simply an uninformed opinion that isn't shared even among beltway types who have praised Sarah for stepping down.
She did quit and she is politically radioactive now. But she’s certainly rich and in the limelight.
These things are not debatable. Her negatives from independents aren’t going to change and she’s very unlikely to win. I think it’s very unlikely to turn around either.
Do I dislike her? Not at ALL. Do I think she’s made bad and potientially fatal politcal moves, yep!
