Right now Sarah Palin ain't runnin' for anything right now. She's hosting a TV Show.
FWIW, Ronald Reagan quit Death Valley Days in 1965 and then IMMEDIATELY began his run for Governor and was elected Governor about a year and a half later.
What you said about Steele was a lie. You know darn well Palin and Steele get along fine.
I am no liar, you are.
Why you lie is obvious.
Go ahead, lick the back of that liar label and plaster it on your forehead.
Good night.
This is one poster who will not attack you as I agree with you completely.
Yes. It is not so bad that the Soros establish in both parties are attacking her like mad dogs. She can play that up during the election.
Thank you.....We all complain about the intolerance of the left, I have found when one has a conflicting opinion on this site there is also a lot of intolerance
maybe I did not explain myself every well......still there is no reason for the nasty....
Well by now someone probably said the obvious... either Fox News is working for Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee.
It does not matter why she quit. Most people in this country are not going to bother to research the why. They will only see that she did and it will hurt her.
I like Sarah Palin but I do not believe she has a snowballs chance in hell of being elected President. I travel alot and she has a major problem with independents. She will not win the presidency with conservatives alone. She must win over independents and I do not believe she will be able to do that. Almost all independents I have talked to sadly consider her a joke. The current problem with independents combine with the relentless attacks by the liberal media will do her in. Sadly as well the media does have tremendous over the uneducated masses.
Mickey Mouse could defeat Mr. Obama today. Two years from now is another thing altogether. The American people are fickle. If the economy picks up and people start going back to work he will be much harder to defeat than people on the site care to admit.
Hmmmmmm......I must have missed his announcement to run for President, otherwise why would he have to be presidential??
The so-called "reality show" is a recent media invention. Usually, the cameras follow some person around in their daily life, and record the unscripted "reality" of their comings and goings.
There are also "reality shows" such as Orange County Choppers and World's Most Dangerous Catch that feature real people at their work, displaying all of the stresses, infighting, and even successes that occur with these people.
Sarah Palin's Alaska is not a "reality show", such as I've described. It's a documentary series about Alaska - not her. She is simply the host of the series and the spokesperson for her state.
If Sarah were doing a "reality show", it would center on her and her family's daily (and personal) lives. Sarah Palin's Alaska is nothing of the sort.
You are right, VA. I dropped three, don’t know why. I had Wm Henry Harrison in Ohio as that where he was living when elected. VA had 8 and Ohio had 7. Thanks for the correction.
Clay lost three times.
1st - 1824, John Quincy Adams won [also Clay pivotal in denying Andrew Jackson the presidency in election.
2nd - 1832, Andrew Jackson won
3rd - 1844, James Polk won
Doesn’t matter. In 1824, Adams (from MA) won on the vote of General Van Rensselaer (NY delegate)... denying Jackson the Presidency as he had the popular vote. Clay ‘engineered’ the win for Adams and was rewarded with the position of Secretary of State. In 1832, Clay for a national bank (Jackson against) pretty much lost on this issue. [ Jackson got his way on the bank and repealing the Electoral College] In 1844, Clay lost Northern voters by backing the annexation of Texas as a slave state.
He basically lost three times (popular vote) by miscalculating the pulse of the American voter. He also was one of the most effective politicians and statesmen of his time though, despite losing his bid for the presidency three time. He did leave an indelible mark on American History and returned to the US Senate in 1850 and endeavored to craft a final compromise designed to avert Civil War. Sadly it didn’t work.
Nibbled by ducks....
Your right, its exactly how Bill Clinton got re-elected..the guy gets IMPEACHED and he still gets re-elected which is exactly why she is waiting to see what happens. She is paying attention very closely to what is going on, if she feels its right and she has a chance to win she will go for it
I don’t doubt you are right. On this site unless you agree with what a lot of these posters you are automaticially branded a RINO (a much over used word on here) Too many people on this site are incapable of discussing matters without reverting to childish name calling of the poster who has an opinion that is not the same.
Impeachment was in '98. He was re-elected in '96.
Aaaa....correct me if I am wrong didn’t Perry just get re-elected Governor of Texas. Seems like someone voted for him.
My mistake
Tolerance is not a strong suit on this site. You are not allowed to disagree with some posters on here or the name calling starts.
I don’t care what Liz Trotta & Karl Rove say about the Alaska show. People need to see the real Sarah Palin, not the one presented on SNL. The show will bring her new supporters.
Exactly so!
