Liberals in both parties will always try to defeat us. That’s a given.
You can’t just put up a trained monkey that repeats conservative talking points and expect it to win. You need to put up quality candidates like Rubio and Toomey. We didn’t put up quality candidates in NY, DE, etc and that’s why they lost.
I can't speak for NY, but we had a high quality candidate here in DE, and I am tired of people trashing Christine O'Donnell.
On a shoestring she knocked off Mike Castle from a 45 year career in DE politics.
She stood for all of the right issues, and articulated them clearly and forcefully.
She won every debate that she and Coons had.Coons had plenty of dirt, but the liberal media here made sure that information did not get out.
A stupid GOP in DE and the Sarah Palin treatment for Christine completely overshadowed the issues in a very blue state that has not elected a Republican Senator in decades.
And the only trained monkeys I have seen here in DE are all Democrat officials, on the state and Federal levels.
Enough of the Christine bashing. If it was true, I would be OK with it.
But it is not, and I am tired of it.
