It isn't bullying, you ditz! The military exists for one chief purpose, to kick asses and break things, or by that capability to keep others from even starting any crap.
There is no 'right' to join, because the people in charge of kicking asses and breaking things want the best people on the team. This isn't some touchy-feely horsesh*t, it's a fighting force.
