Rep. Joe Barton (R-Texas) is denying that he has used opposition research in an effort to undermine a rival in the race for the chairmanship of the Energy and Commerce Committee.

It's time to play hardball with our enemies.
I don’t need to look, I know he’s too liberal.
Anyone who is in cahoots with our enemy the liberals to ban the ordinary light bulb, forbiding me, essentially at the point of a gun, to buy or use it, is the enemy of all Tea Partiers.
I know Barton.
He is a Weasel.
Just Say No to all RINO’s. Barton included.

Several Years Ago...
Helped a Real Republican run against Then Blue Dog Democrat Ralph Hall. (As an aside, Mr. Hall was ok with the Demonrats for another Ten plus years.)
Weasel Barton spoke to REPUBLICAN County Chairs on Behalf of Democrat (this was in ‘94). Actually cut off funding. Did I mention it was 1994. Anyone remember that political climate?
It was Barton(Fink)’s belief that the candidate elected in the REPUBLICAN primary did not really stand a chance. Is that familiar to anyone?
Real Elephants never forget. I know I won’t. In my mind he is a slimeball who is trying to tow the line now (for which I am grateful).
My dislike is personal of an actual elected political opportunist who is “supposedly” on our side.
In Barton(Fink)’s case, I am extremely hopeful that he has risen to his level of incompetence.
