Once again you’re mistaken. I’ve seen contrails at altitude hang around a lot longer than it takes for the shuttle plume to dissipate.
Once again... water vapor disperses (and evaporates) more quickly, regardless of atmospheric conditions than the more dense and complex matter that makes up the plume/smoke which will not evaporate.
You would have to observe the space shuttle plume and airplane contrails under the same atmospheric conditions and duration to say I am mistaken.
